Due to my current writing schedule and ongoing consulting obligations, I have limited availability for Q2/Q3 2026.
I am currently opening conversational slots only for:
- IP Holders looking to expand into the comic medium.
- Studios requiring a “Narrative Doctor” to overhaul existing properties.
- Publishers seeking lead writers/editors for flagship series.
For all other inquiries, including personal indie projects and script reviews, please refer to the comic writing page on this site and my paid membership site, StoryToScript.com as your primary sources of support.
Project Criteria & Fit
To ensure I can deliver the standard of care my clients expect, I am highly selective about the projects I accept. Please review the criteria below before submitting an inquiry.
✓ Ideal Partnerships
Complex Narrative EcosystemsYou are building a “heavy” world—whether it’s a dark dystopian novel, a sprawling sci-fi comic, or a high-fantasy RPG. You need systems, internal logic, deep engagement, and consistency.
The Stand-alone MasterworkA cathedral requires just as much engineering as a city. If you are pouring resources into a self-contained, high-fidelity narrative—whether a graphic novel or indie title—I ensure its internal depth and polish securing its status as a perennial, high-yield asset.
Ludonarrative AlignmentYou understand that in games, the story and the mechanics must speak the same language. You want meaningful engagement where the gameplay verbs match the narrative stakes.
Thematic ComplexityWhile I work across many genres, I excel in Noir, Dystopian, and High-Stakes environments where characters are flawed, morality is “grey,” and the answers aren’t easy.
Architectural DevelopmentYou are looking for a partner to stress-test your foundation and untangle your character arcs, not just a typist to spell-check your dialogue.
Legacy Stewardship & Co-AuthoringI accept full-length novel authorship and co-writing partnerships exclusively with established industry figures or legacy IPs requiring senior narrative stewardship.
Cross-Genre YA I welcome Young Adult narratives that cross into my main wheelhouse genres, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Horror, Dystopian, Cyberpunk, etc. If your story tackles mature themes and structural complexity, we are a fit.
✕ Out of Scope
Contemporary Political AllegoryMy focus is on timeless storytelling and immersive world-building. If the narrative exists primarily as a vehicle for specific contemporary political commentary or partisan satire, it falls outside my architectural focus on longevity.
Pure Genre Romance or YAMy toolkit is built for structural complexity and world-systems, not formulaic emotional beats or YA interpersonal trends. If the core conflict is purely courtship rather than structural, I am not the right architect.
“Asset Mill” Mobile GamesI thrive on density, not volume. If you need 5,000 lines of generic flavor text for a “grind-based” item tree, you need a copywriter. (However, if you are building a deep RPG where those items expand the lore, we should talk.)
AI-Generated RemediationI build human narratives. I do not accept contracts to “humanize,” fix, or rewrite machine-generated drafts. If the foundation was built by an algorithm, I cannot certify the architecture.
Co-WritingOutside of legacy stewardship (left), effective co-writing requires matched experience levels to maintain narrative momentum. With over 20 years in the industry, my workflow is too distinct to mesh with developing writers without slowing down the project. If you want my expertise on your story, please inquire about consulting or developmental editing.
Standard GhostwritingI do not accept standard ghostwriting queries for unestablished authors or new IPs.
Line Editing & ProofreadingMy focus is structural health and narrative viability. If you strictly need grammar checks, typo hunting, or sentence polishing without developmental oversight, you need a copy editor, not an architect.
