Shortly after finishing Ned Kelly, Martin Chuzz brought me in on a really unique concept he was chopping away at. What if human spirituality, good vs. evil kinda stuff were run as big business–and what if we followed a story about a young, innocent teenage girl being sought after by both of these businesses… And what if this girl found her way to the crazyness of NYC (something I happen to know a wee but about).
Suffice to say this isn’t a comic series (8 issue run) suitable for mothers or young children.
While I like to say, “done tastefully” we’ve got mucho grande, venti sized helpings of sex, drugs and rock’n’roll in this one–did I say it takes place in lower Manhattan?
Soul Mates is a romantic comedy heavy on the sexy romance, with a little demon on angel combat action thrown in for good measure.
