A skillful artist can translate a screenplay into a comic. Said artist can translate just about any text into a comic… but don’t delude yourself into thinking a screenplay is a comic script. They are two completely different beasts.

Well, for the writer artist, that’s exactly why format does matter, anytime someone important is putting eyes on the script. Yes, the comic has other faults, but his “I do it my way” included script samples are not helping him in any way.

Also;

People always barking at me “There’s no right way to write comics.” Then I see a panel description like this:

“Panel 2: The front of the house.”

I mean for the love of God, it’s not even a complete sentence. There are standards.▪
